We had a magnificent 3 weeks of touring - thank you to everyone that came out to see us.

The full 7 piece band reunites next week when we will be playing two shows in Ireland as well as appearing on Today FM in session.

We are setting off for Holland in the wee hours tomorrow morning. We intend to play well and be good and have some fun.

Hello there

With 2009 ending tonight we wanted to wish all of you a very happy 2010 and thank you all for your phenomenal support this year. We’ve had an incredible time writing, recording and touring The Sleeper and we’re very excited about the next 12 months.

Here’s one of our favourite moments of the year; playing a secret acoustic set amongst the trees at The End Of The Road Festival.

Hello everyone

We started recording the first new songs in London on December 9th and have been in the studio most days since then. Aside from a few days off for Christmas we’ll be recording right up to our European tour in mid January.

We’re excited about the songs and the sounds.

We’ve just been told that iTunes UK have named The Sleeper/A Product Of The Ego Drain as their album of the year in the Singer/Songwriter genre. Thanks iTunes!

With this and the Rough Trade Album of the Year and the Ivor Novello nomination, we’re feeling pretty proud of our debut year. We’re going to work harder than ever so that 2010 takes things further still.

Happy December. We played our last radio session of the year last night / this morning on Janice Long’s Radio 2 show. It was a really enjoyable session during which we played our 3 singles of 2009 and reflected on the year.

Our last show of the year at St Giles In The Fields church has now sold out. We’re really sorry to anyone who missed out on getting tickets but we will be back in London in 2010.

We leave for Amsterdam Paradiso tomorrow and everyone is pretty excited - our first gig in The Netherlands. After that we’ll be in Leeds then Birmingham - then our final show in London.

Nick, Christian and Bas were rehearsing with the Willkommen backing singers yesterday and fingers crossed it should be a special show.

We had a fantastic debut European tour - taking in Cardiff, Paris, lots of German cities and Brussels. All the shows were great and we’re very grateful to everyone of you who came out to hear us play and chat to us afterwards. We’ll be visiting Amsterdam’s famous ‘Paradiso’ on November 20th before playing our last 3 UK dates of 2009. It has been a bit of a whirlwind year for us, so these last dates will be extra special, we hope to see you there. Here they are:
